Files from digital cameras usually have dull file names. Some letters, an increasing number and no information for the user at all.
The PTS renamer helps you to build up better file names by choosing and combining tags of the photos. If you want the date or time as part of a filename you can define the date and time format.
Just select one picture and enter a new format in the filename or directoryname field. The result is shown in a preview, but nothing is remaned before you click "Rename all".
If two or more photos should be renamed to the same name (e.g. when you name them by time while more than one photo for each second are present) a number is added like "11-12-23 (1).jpg" or you can choose the position where PTS should add this number.
